据科睿唯安（Clarivate Analytics）集团《基本科学指标》（Essential Science Indicators，简称ESI）2019年03月19日最新数据显示，我院蔡美强老师以第一作者发表的SCI论文《UnderstandingMechanisms of Synergy between Acidification and Ultrasound Treatments forActivated Sludge Dewatering: From Bench to Pilot-Scale》(https://pubs.acs.org.ccindex.cn/doi/10.1021/acs.est.8b00310)进入ESI（1%）高被引论文之列，所属一级学科为环境科学与工程。
同时，蔡美强老师合作发表的《Comparison ofthe reactivity of ibuprofen with sulfate and hydroxyl radicals: An experimentaland theoretical study》(https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0048969717305442)也进入ESI（1%）高被引论文之列。
高被引论文是指按照同一年同一个ESI学科发表论文的被引频次排名位于全球前1%的论文，数据每两个月滚动更新一次。近年来，环境学院积极采取各种措施推动学科发展，鼓励广大教师开展科学研究和技术创新，提高学院ESI学科国际排名和学术影响力。
